Is it just me or does anyone else think Pence should have gone to Flynn and gotten his answers "STRAIGHT FROM THE HORSES MOUTH" about what he had said to Kislyak instead of taking McCabe's word??? Just sayin'.
I will read that article but will also need to go back and relisten to you reading the transcripts/notes from McCabe. I had thought you had said that Pence had brought up Flynn speaking about sanctions and you went back to check what was written/stated earlier. I may have misunderstood and will go back. Thank you for the article and for being back.
And no worries, the entire thing is confusing, purposefully. The confusion aided McCabe and others in their framing of Flynn. Even as I was going through the material, I was starting to get a bit confused and was going back and forth to try and get some clarity.
The key thing is that Flynn did not bring up sanctions and did not discuss sanctions at all. He wasn't even aware at the time that there were sanctions being discussed or applied.
Kislyak brought sanctions up, one time, but Flynn only listened, never addressing them.
When later asked if he did discuss sanctions, he replied no. And that was a true statement. He did not discuss them.
But McCabe, with the help of the media who were running a smear campaign at the time (very similar to SignalGate thing earlier this year) managed to create a stink in DC that polluted everything in the White House. When the Deputy Director of the FBI tells the VP and others in the new Admin that the media reporting is correct and that Flynn did discuss sanctions, it's understandable that Pence and others would go to Trump and convey what they had been told by the Deputy Director.
Trump then fired Flynn. Many think this was a huge error on Trump's part.
I am waiting for Trump to bring Flynn back into the fold, but know that the timing has to be right. I had written an earlier reply to your above message but may have hit cancel instead of reply! But again it seems the confusion brought about by the MSM, McCabe, et al, is very purposeful. It truly makes one question one's memory, therefore leading Gen Flynn to respond to the sanctions question, "I don't remember. I may have." GOTCHA'!!! That HAD to be going through their minds when he said that. I am waiting for that BOOMERANG to hit them right upside their heads!! Awful, awful people. This 'Awakening Education' is a bit more than I bargained. It is so disheartening to see how these people have such a disdain for the lives of "we the people". Thank God for DJT! Have a blessed Sunday JH.

Your question was a good one, btw.
